Make your plans early to ensure your spot and join us for the 2012 Maui Summer Classic Youth High School Basketball Tournament. The Maui Summer Classic youth high school basketball tournament will be held July 9th - July 15th (Games will start July 11 and end on July 15th). Teams will be able to practice July 9th and July 10th. The tournament is for boys and girls teams and is comprised of: Youth basketball division (7th and 8th). If divisions are combined due to a lack of teams then 7th & 8th grade division will be combined in the pool play and separated in the tournament play. The High School division is comprised of a JV (9th & 10th) division and a Varsity (9th-12th) division. Graduating High School seniors are eligible to participate for College recruiting purposes. Teams can be Club teams, AAU teams, Select Teams, High School teams or just teams that want to vacation and have some fun and play some hoops. Comprehensive sports insurance is provided through USSSA. The Maui Summer Classic Youth & High School Tournament is organized by Michael Bradley's On The Ball Youth Basketball organization and the County of Maui Parks. Mahalo to the Mayor's Office and the County of Maui Parks and Recreations Department for their major partnership in supporting the tournament.

Registration 2012 MAUI SUMMER CLASSIC HIGH SCHOOL Tournament Registration Cost
The Maui Summer Classic Youth High School basketball tournament registration fee is $750 per Team Fee, plus an additional cost of $65 per person for the Dinner Cruise , and there are tickets for family members also. There will be a sign in sheet for those teams that are attending the Dinner Cruise because I have to know how many people are going to attend so I can prepay for the tickets to get the Dinner Cruise at a discount price. There is no gate admission charges for family members for any of the basketball tournament events except for the Polynesian Dinner event.
A Team Deposit of $250 must be submitted by May 31 to ensure a spot and final balance by June 31. Total payment must be made prior to July 1
or if you are a first time team, you must pay in cash or a certified check in Maui no exceptions. Book your air and accommodations through Travel International Sports and receive some team discounts and a $700 tour package bonus provided for teams that book 30 travel packages to be used anyway you want to towards your trip to Maui. Cancellation Policy Disclaimer:
Deposits are refunded in full, if cancelled before April 15. Cancellations after May 13, will be refunded by 50%, after May 31 will be forfeited in full.

Dinner Cruise
Come join us on the Pride of Maui is a 65ft Maxi Power Catamaran boasting 3,000sq ft of deck space, specifically built for Hawaiian Waters and sailed by seasoned Captains and friendly experts offering a one-of-a-kind service. Famous for her stability and comfort, the yacht can carry up to 149 passengers. Explore the marine environment with an unobstructed panoramic view from spacious decks. The setting, with the sun gently setting over the gorgeous beach and the neighboring islands in the background was breathtaking.
Closing Ceremony
Closing Ceremony at the Lahaina Civic Center was a great combination of succulent and plentiful food and native dancing. First in all divisions receives a Signature ball along with beautiful individual tournament T-shirts. Second place teams receives a Team Plaques with individual tournament T-shirts.
The Mayor, the tournament staff and the staff of the Maui Department of Recreation will be on hand to address the participants and to present the awards. Dinner will beprovided with a Hawaiian style barbecue with an endless supply of seasoned steak, chicken, salad and rice.

Welcome to the Maui Winter Classic High School Basketball Tournament. This tournament is sponsored by the On the Ball Youth Basketball Organization and the Lahainaluna High School girl's basketball program. Michael Bradley’s “"On the Ball Youth Basketball" has been involved in providing many successful Youth and High School basketball tournaments for the past 17 years.
The Maui Winter Classic is a 16 team Boys & 8 team Girls High School Basketball Varsity Tournament sanctioned by the High School Federation. All teams will play 4 games with first and second place awards.
